Source material:
- The best quality beetles or larvae
- (Gene diversity, beetle size, larval weight, appearance, vitality)
Housing of the larvae:
- separately keeping: L1-L2 (50 ml - 200 ml box)
- Together in 3. Larval stage (1-5 Liters per larva)
- End L3 separately keeping (Larval weight is then ca. 50g)
Larval food:
- Humus (fermented leaves, beech & oak) medium moisture
- Gammarus as protein addition, from the 1st to 3rd larval stage
- Optional apple pieces, sweet varieties, from the end of L3 (L3 weight approx. 50g)
Larvae control and substrate change:
- L1-L2 Depending on the larvae and container size, after 5 - 7 days
- L2-L3 Depending on larvae and container size, after 1 - 7 days
Room temperature: 18-21°C (min. 15°C / max. 25°C)
